How  It  Works

  • Any member who has signed a commitment form and who is current with her donations, may nominate an organization for consideration. Members are allowed to nominate one (1) charity per meeting. Each member must have done their homework and have a contact at the charity of their choice; they must also make the charity aware of their nomination. The member is responsible for making arrangements directly with the charity to present at the meeting if their name has been selected. Members can nominate a charity by filling out a form and submitting it here.

  • The nominated charities will make a five minute presentation about the organization to the group and a Q&A session will follow.

  • All active members may vote (by ballot) for one of the three organizations.

  • An organization not selected at one meeting may be resubmitted at a subsequent meeting.

  • A successful organization is not eligible for future consideration for 2 years but the nominating member may submit the name of another organization.

  • Ties will be decided by further votes. If a tie persists, the membership will revote on the two tied charities

  • Each meeting will open with a five minute update on how the funds donated at the previous meeting were used by the successful organization.

  • Each member will write a cheque for $100 to the organization receiving the most votes.

  • The selected organization will receive a group donation of $10,000 or more!

  • Members will receive a tax receipt directly from the organization and distributed at the next scheduled meeting.

  • The selected organization must agree not to give out member information to any third parties except for tax purposes.

  • Organizations up for consideration must serve the North Perth Region
